It doesn’t matter what age group you’re talking about, icebreaker questions are the perfect party game. Have you ever been someplace where you felt a little nervous? Maybe you didn’t know anyone, or you felt uncomfortable around the people in the room. To solve this problem, people use icebreakers to “break the ice.”
Icebreakers are simply short, easy questions that people are asked. For example, an icebreaker question might be, “If you could be any color, what color would you be and why?” Another example is, “What cartoon character do you resemble and why?” These questions are thought provoking (kind of) and are usually fairly comical and they are perfect for almost any situation and any age group.
If you are a parent and are having a party for your children, think of some funny icebreakers to ask the kids when they arrive at the party. This will help the kids feel comfortable at the party and will help get the conversations rolling. Choose easy questions for small kids, such as “If you could be a fruit, what fruit would you be?”
Icebreaker questions are also ideal for teenagers. Work with your teenage child on making a list of these questions. Write them on small sheets of paper and place them in a bowl. Have the kids take turns picking out questions and answering them.
This is also great for adults. If you are having adult party, icebreakers are the perfect opportunity for your guests to get to know each other. This game will bring excitement to the party and your guests will have a great time.
